In recent years, white-and-wood kitchen and bathroom become quite welcomed. While some homeowners are happy with that light and warm combo, others prefer adding a punch of color. And few colors work better in a kitchen or bathroom than shades of blue. Blues can bring a bright, inviting energy without veering too bold. Plus, they work well with wood tones and almost any metal finish, including brass and matte black. Here, we would like to share details of kitchens in white, wood and blue.
1. In the Navy and Sand
Looked at some inspiration photos, many featured mostly neutral palettes with pops of blue. The style also like to be a modern farmhouse feel, so that we used Sand Yellow by Navy Blue for the perimeter cabinetry . Then we incorporated a Black & White tone to bring some morden feeling in.
2. In the White and Navy
For the new build, it was important to the homeowners that the exterior of the traditional Tudor brick home match the interior layout, but with spaces made for modern living. Classical elements are featured throughout the kitchen, including cased openings, cabinet built-ins, creating an ambiance steeped in tradition. "
White, wood and blue details. The cabinets are a Navy blue-gray . The walls and trim are Cloud White . Then we incorporated a midtone oak wood tone to bring some warmth in. A similar hardwood flooring tone runs throughout the main floor so it all feels connected.
3. In Bathroom
In this super nice primary bathroom, it paired a spacious custom vanity with custom white wooden mirrors, glass vanity lights and gold-tone hardware. Its painted matt navy blue finish picks up the little gold-tone details in the cabinet . Installed with a glossy porcelain white oval bathroom vessel, entire looks so generous.
